Photos that give the best head swap
The new head photo matters most. Use one where the whole head and hair are in the frame, nothing is cut off at the top, and no hat, hand or hood covers it.
Match the angle. If the person you are replacing looks slightly to the left, pick a head photo that looks slightly to the left too. Similar lighting helps the skin tone and shadows line up at the neck.
Crop both pictures roughly from the waist up and use the sharpest versions you have. Long hair is the hardest part: if the new hair falls over the shoulders, parts of the clothing around it can change.
