How do I put two photos side by side on iPhone?

Open this page in Safari, tap the upload area and choose both photos from your library. Keep Side by side selected and tap Download; the combined image goes to your Downloads, and you can save it to Photos from there.

Can I combine more than two images?

Yes. The free combiner takes up to 10 images in a row, a column or a grid. AI blend works with 2 or 3.

Will combining reduce the quality of my images?

Side by side only resizes pictures to match each other. Pick a larger output size (up to 2000px per row, 6000px total) and PNG if you want the sharpest file.

Can AI merge two people into one photo?

Yes. AI blend places people from separate photos into one scene, as if they were photographed together. It doesn't mix their faces into one face.

Can I make a transparent background?

Yes. Tick Transparent and the gaps and border are left see-through; the file is saved as PNG.

Are my images uploaded?

Not for Side by side; everything happens in your browser. AI blend uploads your photos to make the image and deletes them, and the result, after 24 hours.

What images are not allowed in AI blend?

Nude or sexual images are refused automatically, and so are descriptions asking for them. Only use photos of people who are fine with it.

How do you put two pictures side by side?

Add both pictures above, keep the layout on Side by side and click Download Combined Image. That's it: the tool scales them to the same height so the edges line up, and saves one JPG.

To stack them instead, pick Top to bottom; both pictures are matched to the same width. For before-and-after shots, set Spacing to 10–20px and a white background so the two halves read as separate photos.

How do I merge two photos into one with AI?

Switch to AI blend, add the two photos and write one sentence about the scene, for example "the two of us hiking on a mountain at sunset". Leave it empty and the AI simply puts the main subjects together in a natural setting.

Faces turned toward the camera and well lit give the closest likeness. The model behind it is Google's Nano Banana 2.1 image editor, which we tell to keep each person's face, hair and skin tone and to avoid collage layouts.

How do I combine multiple images into one grid?

Add up to 10 images and pick Grid. Choose 2, 3 or 4 columns; every cell takes the shape of the first image, so put a photo with the shape you want first.

Fill (crop) makes the grid edge to edge with no empty space. Fit (whole image) shows each picture completely and lets the background color show around it.
